| The NewRN team was initially made up of a variety of nurses from all areas of healthcare. As we expanded, we attracted other like-minded medical professionals to our team. Although the majority of our membership is made up of nurses, we continue to welcome other like-minded health and medical professionals. We are a diverse group of leaders who have come together to share our skills and talents as we make a difference in our own lives and others in the world around us.
We are passionate in our desire to work, live, learn and give - all in a balanced llife.
Here are just a few of the members of our NewRN team:

After nine years of developing a cooperative team model for others to achieve their maximum personal potential, she has realized life-long goals. Learning to strive for balance in her life has been an invaluable challenge. In addition, it has allowed her the personal time to commit to her family of three adult children and six grandchildren. Anne Marie Cheney
Santa Rosa, CA
RN, MSN
Anne Marie graduated from nursing school "more years ago than I care to count." She worked in critical care units in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and California. Her desire to keep learning and growing eventually lead to Graduate School and a Master's degree from Marquette University. About 10 years ago she moved from critical care to hospice and found her niche. She was drawn to NewRN by a desire for balance in her life. Her hospice work, while fulfilling, was demanding as changes in the illness care system require nurses to do more with less. A World of Wellness offers an incredible opportunity to focus on health for both her clients and herself. And more time for what she loves to do; poetry, writing, and singing.
